During an introductory flight, you’ll take the controls as the pilot—of course, accompanied by and under the supervision of an experienced flight instructor. The flight instructor will gradually give you more control over the helicopter. You can try out various flight maneuvers, such as landings and hovering, on your own. Coordinating all the controls is a major challenge. Can you keep the helicopter hovering in place? Give it a try—an introductory flight is an intense and unforgettable experience.

The "A-Star" family was developed in the 1970s by the French manufacturer Aerospatiale (later Eurocopter, now Airbus Helicopters) and is still very popular today.

The six- to seven-seats helicopter with a Turbomeca turbine engine is the most widely used aircraft in the Swiss helicopter industry. Its range of applications covers almost all areas of helicopter flying. We use the H125  for passenger transportation as well as for sling load operations. If the intention is to be employed by a helicopter company, a rating on the Airbus H125 is essential.

Do you fly all year round, even in winter?

Yes, we operate all year round. Every season has its own special charm. You can choose your favorite season for the flight.

How far in advance do I have to book a helicopter flight?

We recommend booking one to two weeks in advance. Reservations can of course also be made at shorter notice. With shorter lead times, it is possible that our helicopters are already occupied. Weekends are particularly busy.

Under what conditions do group flights take place?

The following conditions must be met for the group flights (from Bern-Belp on Sundays) to take place:

  • all seats in the helicopter are occupied and paid for
  • the meteorological conditions are right

If not all helicopter seats are occupied, the flight will be postponed to a subsequent weekend (Saturday or Sunday) of your choice.

I only want to fly in good weather - what are the weather conditions?

We make unforgettable experiences possible - good weather is an important prerequisite for this. We will call you on the day of the flight (a few hours before the flight) to inform you about the weather conditions. Together with you, we decide whether the flight will take place or not.

How can I pay for my helicopter flight?

You can pay for our helicopter flights, vouchers & store items online on account or by card. Cash payment is also possible on site.
