Bern base: We welcome you in our offices at Hangar 7, Flugplatzstrasse 9. You can park your car directly in front of the hangar. If you are travelling by public transport, it is best to use the bus stop "Giessenbad" one stop before the final stop at Bern Airport.
Grenchen base: We welcome you in our offices at Grenchen Airport, Flughafenstrasse 117. You can park your car directly in front of the hangar. If you are travelling by public transport, it is best to use the "Flughafen" bus stop.
Both locations are close to motorway exits. They are also easy to reach from more distant centres such as Zurich, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Basel.
Check-in and departure
After payment/delivery of your voucher in our office, your pilot will pick you up. He will accompany you to the helicopter. You are welcome to take photos. You are also allowed to bring along accompanying persons who will photograph or film you in front of the helicopter as well as the start. The visitors need a visitor badge and must hand in their identity card for the duration of their stay in the hangar.
Your pilot will inform you about the most important rules of conduct around the helicopter and about the functions of doors, belts and headsets. Afterwards you will take a seat in the helicopter. Your pilot will help you and close the doors.
During the flight you can talk to the helicopter pilot via your headset. Make sure that your microphone is placed close to your mouth. On exclusive sightseeing flights, the route can be adapted to your wishes, provided that this is within the time frame. If you wish, you are also welcome to take photos during the flight.
Unlike a plane, a helicopter can land almost anywhere. Many sightseeing flights include a stopover in the mountains or at a restaurant. For exclusive sightseeing flights of 45 minutes flying time or more, a stopover is generally possible.
After landing the pilot stops the piston engine or the turbine of the helicopter and lets the rotor spin out. Please wait strapped in the helicopter until the pilot gets out and opens the doors for you. Your pilot will then accompany you back to our office.
